Velux klr200 Remote Repair Details

Customers Fault Description : When i put batteries in or use the usb the remote control unit does not respond . There seems to be some corrosion around the battery terminals. Would be great if you can repair this. Thanks.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This window remote control arrived safely from Westcliff on Sea and on testing was dead.
THe battery block was replaced but the remote remained dead. The main PCB board was then replaced which restored full funcitonality.
The remote will need setting up with the receiver again on return.
