This Gas fire remote control arrive safely from Surrey and on testing was dead. The battery cable was replaced as it was intermittently powering the PCB. This unfortunately did not rectify the issue, eventually the screen did come on but it was extremely dim and had to be viewed form an extreme angle.
This has sadly led to the LCD being at fault, these displays are not available as spares which has made a repair not possible.
