Customer's Fault Description
Red on and off buttons, Yellow CD 2 AND DVD/VDP 3 Buttons not functioning.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This AV Surround AVC-1602 remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to have the top two rows of buttons being non functional.
On opening there was signs of a battery leak and corrosion within the print (see image). The print was reworked which did restore functionality to all but 2 of the buttons.
A full functionality could not be restored this item has been classed as beyond repair, the corrosion within the print is not reworkable as much of it is under the multi layered print.
