Customer's Fault Description
Batteries leaking, cleaned up the contacts but controller still didn't work

This Electric Fire remote control arrived safely from Bolton and on testing was found to be dead.
On opening the negative wire to the PCB was corroded and detached. A replacement patch wire was fitted and then the oscillator replaced, this restored full functionality.
