Customer's Fault Description
NEW BATTERY FITTED NOTHING WORKING, CASE IN POOR STATE
Remote Fixer Repair Response
THis remote arrived safely and on inspection the case was damaged and buttons missing, a replacement case could not be supplied nor the missing buttons as spares are not available (we cannot carry out cosmetic repairs)
The remote was found to be dead. The LED and electrolytic capacitor was replaced (the cap was crushed which meant that the remote was most likely crushed under a very heavy item, this explains the case damage). Then the battery compartment was reworked to make a better battery connection.
The case was glued together to the best of our ability.
Full functionality was restored.
