Customers Fault Description : turns on but no buttons work - obvious trauma of lead at remote end with severed blue and black wires

This Adjustamatic remote control arrived safely and on inspection the cable was damaged at the remote entry point with one of the cores being broken.
The cable was cut back and refitted to bypass the damage.
