Customer's Fault Description
Despite inserting a new battery the handset will initially work and within a short per of time goes completely dead. Occasionally the stop button will not operate.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Golf trolley remote control arrived safely from Burton Overy and after a lengthy test was found to drain the batteries.
A component test was carried out without the issue being pinpointed. After talking to the customer it was concluded that a remedy would be to fit a battery isolation switch allowing the customer to turn the battery off without having to remove it. A switch was fitted to th e bottom of the remote (see image)
