Remote Fixer Repair Response
These two break tester remote controls arrived safely and on inspection one was missing its back cover and IR cover.
This remote was found to be dead, this was due to a broken LED and broken leg of the regulator. The regulator was repaired and the LED replaced, then the print was reworked to repair functionality to the buttons as some were "sluggish", this restored full functionality, a replacement back cover and ir cover was fitted from a scrapper.
The second remote was found to have poor button response. When opened there was contamination over the PCB / button array, both were cleared of all contaminants which restored full functionality to all buttons.
