Customer's Fault Description
Remote seems to have died. Volume control slowly became a problem and them stopped. Other buttons do not function either.I have a generic replacements ( RM Series ) but cannot find a button or series of buttons to make the amp menu work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Sony TV surround sound system remote control arrived safely from Hertfordshire and on testing was dead.
This was due to the oscillator, once replaced the remote was then found to transmit on all button presses.
