Temperamental power and getting worse to the point where not working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Extractor Fan Remote - JLHDA918 arrived safely from Walton-on-Thames and on testing was ofudn t have intermittent response.
When opened the issue was foudn to be due to contaminaiton / corrosion over the main IC pins (see image)
The pins were cleaned up and re-soldered which then restored full functionality.
A Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return. Any previous battery that was inserted into this remote may have been drained as the pins of the IC were short circuit.
