Customer's Fault Description
Remote not turning on the fire anymore (any function) LED light constantly lit dimly, when no button pressed, it lights up brighter when buttons pressed. Tried new battery switching fire off at the wall & back on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
THis heater remote control arrived safely and on adding a battery was found to dimly illuminate without any button being pressed.
When the buttons were pressed the signal was present.
All 5 buttons were replaced which removed the short (causing the dim LED) and then the mode switch cleaned using contacts cleaner.
The remote then functioned as normal on all button presses.
