Customers Fault Description : Won’t switch on fireplace but lcd screen display not visible.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This fireplace remote control arrived safely from Glasgow an on inspection the display itself was broken with the black liquid crystal being visible in a large portion of the screen.

Unfortunately these screens are not available as spare which makes a repair not possible.

Mertik Maxitrol remotes can be found on ebay (  https://ebay.us/KFbDSH ), please check with the selles for further details and compatibility.  Its important to get the correct remote for the receiver or it wont work even if it looks exactly the same
