Customer's Fault Description
Inconsistent/poor/no operation. Remote was dropped and there may be an issue with a dry or broken joint on the infra-red emitter
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Hi-Fi Audio System remote control arrived safely from Hook and on testing was found to have intermittent functionality.
When opened there was corrosion within the print caused by an apparent battery leak (see image). The print was reworked using SCP which restored full functionality.
