Customer's Fault Description
The power button is very temperamental and requires numerous pushes sometimes to work. Also the volume up/down buttons aren't quite as responsive as they used to be.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Yamaha Sound bar remote control arrived safely from Southampton and on testing was confirmed to have a very sluggish power button response.
This was due to a worn button contact. A replacement conductive pad was glued into place which restored full functionality.
