Sherborne Remote Repair Details
This Remote for riser/recliner chair arrived safely from Buxton with a power supply (we don't repair power supplies)
A full component test and cable continuity test was carried out on the remote control with no issues being found apart from the cable grommet being partially extracted from the remote case.
We don't repair power supplies but the box was inspected and found to be missing many of its housing screws and there was a rattle when shook, the box was opened and the fixing screw holes were shattered on most of the screw holes with the broken plastic being loose inside the box. The loose parts were removed then the box reassembled the best we could (due to the screw fixings being damaged. It is thought that someone else has opened this boxas the missing screws were not found inside the case / packaging).
This remote control has been classed as no fault found.
