Customer's Fault Description
Remote control drains power from 9V battery in 1 or 2 days and then will not power the fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote arrived safely from Ayr and on testing was confirmed to drain batteries.
On opening there was a large mass of sticky contamination over the button array, regulator and under the screen
The button were replaced and contamination removed which then stopped the item draining batteries. Unfortunately a couple of digits of the clock display is missing due to the screen contamination, replacement screens are not available but the remote will still function as normal.
