Customer's Fault Description
It looks like it’s cracked and it’s not working at all. It’s for the tv fixed in the motorhome
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting without any button being pressed. The back cover was found to have a crack across the middle. (this cannot be replaced).
When opening the main IC was found to have contamination over a few of its pins, when cleared the constant signal was fixed but then it was found that many of the buttons were non responsive.
This was due to the traces under the main IC being open circuit, corroded due to the contamination. The print was reworked which restored full functionality.
