Customer's Fault Description
Batteries leaked inside the remote and have damaged the contact terminals
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Electric fire remote control arrived safely form Ashton-under-Lyne and on inspectio nwas confirmed to have badly damaged terminals.

The same terminals are not available as spares which meant we had to fit a replacement battery block in the remote (see image).  Full functionality was restored.
