Enduro EM4444 Remote Repair Details

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Caravan remote arrived safely from Peterborough and on testing was erratic in functionality. THe retaining clip on the battery cover was missing meaning the cover will not clip into position, replacement covers are not available as spares meaning this cannot be replaced, it does not effect functionality..
On opening there was a mass of corrosion on both sides of the PCB (see images), this was from a battery leak.
The terminals were replaced and the PCB cleared of contaminates which restored full functionality.
