TEAC Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : TEAC
Customers Fault Description : Remote very limited function, volume control only until on/off and some dab pre selects suddenly began working again.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
THis Teac remote control arrived safely from Bingley and on testing was found to have sluggish button responses.
When opened the connections around the main ic had signs of corrosion from a possible battery leak.
The solder was re-flowed which restored full functionality.
