Powertouch Evo Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Powertouch Evo
Customers Fault Description : The remote does not switch on after pressing both activate buttons. New battery fitted, eventually the lights activate after several attempts. The red lights on indicators show but nothing else. Motor mover is a manual type. The van battery is fine.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This motor mover remote control arrived safely from Sleaford and on testing was found to not respond to its twin power button press.
This was due to worn button contacts, replacement conductive pads were glued into place which restored full functionality.
THe remote was then tested as ok with a strong radio frequency signal being present on all directional button presses.
