Glow worm Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Glow worm

Customers Fault Description : Not working at all. Blank screen, and no power despite battery change, unsure of the reason, may have been some water damage.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Climapro2 remote thermostat arrived safely from Bournemouth and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

When opened there was contamination over parts of the PCB which was shorting out some of the SMD components.  This was cleared away and then the internal battery terminals replaced.  Full functionality was restored. 

Please note that the batteries supplied by the customer will require replacing soon as the contamination will have drained the power.
