Customer's Fault Description
Remote control seems to have power coming through but doen't work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This recliner chair remote arrived safely from Cornwall and on inspectio nthe cable was found to have damage to its out cover on the inside of the coil (see image). This damage is only cosmetic and the wires were tested as continuous. Also there appears to be some pit marks at the plug end, again this appears to be cosmetic
The remote was opened and all components tested without any issue being found.
It is possible that the issue is with the receiver or extension cable.
This item has been classed as no fault found. We certainly can replace the cable with a straight cable but as the damage is only cosmetic it is thought that this will not restore functionality.
