Customer's Fault Description
You have to press the POWER and STAND-BY bottom together to turn the fire on. The STAND-BY button flashes when you press it, so seems to be working. The POWER button doesn't not flash so seems to be a problem with that. Hence, my fire will not turn on.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Fire Remote Control arrived safely and on inspection was found to be missing its battery cover, this cannot be replaced as spares are not available.
On testing the button response was sluggish. When opened there was a mass of contamination over the PCB which had started to eat through the print. The print was reworked and the buttons replaced. Full Functionality was restored.
