DRU Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : DRU
Customers Fault Description : There are only two buttons, one to turn the fire up and one to turn it down. The unit has gradually been getting harder to operate the fire, having to hold the button down longer and get it nearer to the fire. We have just turned the fire on at the beginning of December to discover it now will not operate the fire control. I noticed from your website that sometimes its not the remote at fault but I have no way of testing it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Gas Fire Remote Control arrived safely from Skipton and on testing was found to not transmit a signal on any button press.
This was due to a faulty US transducer, once a replacement was fitted full functionality was restored.
