Customer's Fault Description
One of the four buttons does not work - the one on the bottom left. It is needed to switch the fire on. The wires had come off the battery connection but I did a botched soldering job on them to get them working, but that was some time ago.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Kinder B-63600 remote control for a Flavel Calibre fire arrived safely from Liverpool and on inspectio nthe battery cover retaining clip was missing (this cover cannot be replaced as spares are not available).
The battery cable was damaged and the buttons sluggish in response.
The battery cable and all 4 buttons were replaced which restored full functionality.
