Not working. Just bought the preamp from eBay, bought a new battery taking care to insert it correctly but it still doesn’t work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Audio Preamplifier remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to transmit a random signal without any button being pressed, this was found to be the main IC.

Once the IC was replaced, full functionality was restored.
