Remote Fixer Repair Response
This boiler remote control arrived safely and on testing was initially powering up but after testing for a couple of days the remote eventually died.
It had drained the batteries fully. When opened the voltage regulator was found to be getting very hot and subsequentially draining the power source.
The regulator was replaced and then the remote tested of for a 3 day period with no voltage drain found.
Its important to note that any battery that was inserted into this remote in the past will be drained so it's important to only fit brand new batteries on return.
