Customer's Fault Description
Dead due to decayed batteries, leaving some corrosion on the battery terminals. Will bleep during reset. Nothing else works.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Gas Fire remote control and receiver arrived safely from Knaresborough and on testing the remote was found to be functioning as normal but the receiver was dead due to badly corroded battery terminals.
The battery block in the receiver was replaced which restored full functionality.
