Velux WUR 101 5001 Remote Repair Details

Model : WUR 101 5001

Customers Fault Description : Changed batteries but not working at all. Beam on end should glow red when the button is pressed but there is nothing.

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This Velux remote control arrived safely form Doncaster and on testing was found to be dead.

This was due to a faulty oscillator, once replaced full functionality  was restored. 

Please note that the bulb at the end will not illuminate as its Infra red which is invisible to the human eye.
