Customer's Fault Description
Replaced battery but not lighting up, not connecting to fire
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Flamerite fire remote control arrived safely from Caldicot and on inspection the LED appeared to be missing.
On opening the LED was found to be bent out of position which explained when it would not illuminate. This is strange as the LED cannot bend out of position without the item being opened.
The LED was ben back into position and resoldered.
When retested full functionality was restored and a strong RF signal was present.
A Duracell MN21/23 battery will be supplied fitted on return.
