Customer's Fault Description
Door remote stopped working, tried replacing the battery but still does not work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This garage door remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to not respond to its button presses. When the terminals were moved the remote would spring to life.
This was found to be due to a tiny corrosion spot on one of the terminals which was causing a resistance.
The terminal was etched clean which restored full functionality.
A MN11 Duracell battery will be supplied fitted on return.
