Valor Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : Valor

Customers Fault Description : Dropped on floor. Stopped working

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This heater remote control arrived safely and on testing was found to be transmitting without any button being pressed.

When opened the button contacts were found to be slightly worn and one of the pads was reading a resistance acros its contacts.  Replacement conductive pads were glued under each button and the PCB cleared of all contaminants which restored full funciotnaity.

The vanity metal plates were then glued into position to stop the remote "rattling"
