Customer's Fault Description
It got left in the damp with batteries inside and no longer works. I cleaned and soldered the battery connections and it worked for a while, but always seemed to drain the batteries. No just can't get it to work.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This remote control arrived safely from Greater Manchester and on testing was found to be dead.
On opining much of the print had suffered corrosion with some rework being carried out before arriving with us.
The dead issue was found to be due to a solder bridge shorting out the positive and negative terminals, the solder was reworked which restored full functionality.
