BMTEST EQUIPMENT Remote Repair Details

Manufacturer : BMTEST EQUIPMENT

Customers Fault Description : remote led permanently flashing , when flashing remote does not work

Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :

This brake tester remote control arrived safely from Edburton and on testing initially was found to be working as normal but then the remote would start to transmit without any button being pressed.

This was found to be due to the button facia bridges becoming conductive.

These facias are not available as spares making a repair not possible.

After talking to the customer it was concluded to create a clone using the buttons requested by the customer. Please see an image below of the clone and button map.

A clone was supplied.

Its important to not put a battery in the original remote as it will transmit all the time draining a battery and it will stop the clone working if it is in the same room.
