Customer's Fault Description
It is used to control the amp so not worried about TV functions.
The power button and volume down keys do not work. The other functions seem okay.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This DSP 5A surround sound amplifier remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed to have some non functioning / sluggish buttons.
When opened there was liquid contamination over part of the PCB and worn button contacts.
The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons.
Full functionality was restored.
