Red light comes on and buttons seem to function but nothing happens.

Remote Fixer Repair Response
THis remote control arrived safely and on inspection the button response is very bad (they need to be pushed hard to illuminate the LED). Once the LED illuminates the remote is found to be transmitting as normal.
As the remote is transmitting when the LED illuminates if may be that the fault that the customer has mentioned may not be due to the remote and may be an issue with the receiver and replacing the buttons will not rectify any issue with the receiver.
After talking to the customer it was decided to replace the buttons and restore the remote to full functionality, this was done by replacing all 3 buttons, the control was then re-tested with our receiver for a 3 day period with no further issues.
