Recliner chair by Hal. All buttons work except the foot/leg riser. Curly cable split.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Recliner chair remote control arrived safely from Newcastle upon Tyne and on inspeciton the cable was damaged and the button contacts were worn.

A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the main buttons.
