Customer's Fault Description
Dropped remote and now not turning on and rattles when I shake it.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Central heating remote control arrived safely from Lover and on inspecito nwas confirmed to rattle when shook.
On testing the remote was intermittently dead. When opened the rattle was found to be part of the PCB mounting assembly being broke, this was refitted and then the internal terminals were reworked to being impacted (most likely from the dropping).
This restored full functionality.
Please note that its important to ensure that the batteries are inserted into this remote correctly as the batteries should not all be fitted the same way, please see the image below of the correct battery orientation.
