Wires have been snapped at top close to the handset.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This remote arrived safely from Surrey and on inspection the cable was damaged at the remote entry point.  Also one of the LEDs was found to be intermittent.

A replacement straight cable was fitted (we cannot get the curly kind) and then the LED was replaced.   Replacement conductive pads were also glued under each of the main buttons due to slightly worn contacts.
