Customer's Fault Description
3 of the four buttons do not work. I will enclose a picture detailing which are defective (chair back lower - top left and reset button are the only ones that work). I have swapped over plugs on chair and confirmed that both motors function.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
This HSL chair - 5 button dual motor remote control arrived safely from Helensburgh.
The remote was opened, a cable continuity test carried out with no issue being found and then every component on the PCB (buttons and diodes and 1 LED) were tested and found to be reading as normal.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
As the customer has swapped over the motors and ruled the motors out it is thought that the issue is most likely either with the control box or the handset extension cable which reaches from the armchair pocket to the underside of the chair.
