Remote Fixer Repair Response
This Golf trolley remote control arrived safely from Gourock and on testing was dead, this was due to being low on battery charge, once put on charge the remote would sprint to life but it was then confirmed that various buttons were non functioning.
On opening the PCB was found to have a mass of contamination over the SMD components (see image), this was all cleared up but the issue remained, a test button array was then fitted which rectified the issue. Unfortunately this led to the conclusion that the button facia itself was at fault which has deemed a repair not possible as these facias are not available as spares.
