Customer's Fault Description
The remote control indicated that it had "low battery". When I had changed the battery (tried with several different batteries), it still indicated "low battery". And after a while it stopped working.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This fireplace remote control arrived safely from Norway and on testing was found to be dead. The battery cable and voltage regulator were both replaced which restored full functionality.
