Customers Fault Description : The battery part is broken

This heater remote control arrived safely from Merthyr Tydfil and on inspection was found to have a damaged back cover, damaged print traces and a deformed battery terminal.
Luckily we had a spare back cover from a scrap remote, the print was reworked and the terminal reformed (this terminal becomes damaged from the battery being inserted upside down, therefore care must be taken to prevent future damage). The back cover was then replaced.
Full functionality was restored.
