Customers Fault Description : the red light dont come on when u press any of the buttoms

This Infra Red Mertik Maxitrol remote control arrived safely from sevenoaks and on testing was confirmed to be dead.

This was due to a faulty battery cable, once the cable was replaced full functionality was restored.
