The remote control is not communicating with the base unit

This Digi mixer shower remote control arrived safely from Hampshire and on testing was found to be transmitting a strong RF signal as per normal operation.
The control was tested over a 3 day period at random intervals with no issues being replicated.
The issue could be with the receiver itself. The customer is to try to "pair" the remote with the receiver on return.
This item has been classed as no fault found.
