Exactly same as your advert. Black battery piece on rod the wires has snapped off also says batteries are low although it’s a brand new battery.
Remote Fixer Repair Response

This Fire remote control arrived safely from Manchester and on testing was dead due to a broken battery cable.

A replacement battery cable was fitted and the regulator replaced which restored full functionality.
