Paragon Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Paragon
Customers Fault Description : Ignition buttons very temperamental in starting fireplace. Have to press hard and for an extremely long time
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Fireplace remote control arrived safely from Bootle and on testing was confirmed to have sluggish button response.
On opening the issue was found to be due to decomposing button contacts. The PCB was cleared of all contaminants and then replacement conductive pads were glued under each of the buttons.
Full functionality was restored.
