Stewart Remote Repair Details
Manufacturer : Stewart
Customers Fault Description : Remote no longer charges.
Remote Fixer Repair Response (see below) :
This Stewart (X9) Follow Remote control arrived safely and on testing was confirmed not to charge.
When opened the battery was expanded and there was a 500r resistor open circuit. The battery and resistor were both replaced which then allowed the remote to charge up.
The red light stays on after charging which is curious and does eventually drain the battery but it is hoped that it lasts for longer than a golfing period.
The customer is to charge then test the remote fully on return.
