Customer's Fault Description
Hi, I spoke to you regarding the remote I attempted to repair and of the replacement my friend bought with my guidance. I have sent both and I'm hoping that you can use them to see if you can make a good one out of the pair. The original was the plug with the red ring and the new one has the yellow ring.
Remote Fixer Repair Response
These Electric recliner remote controls arrived safely and on inspection one had a damaged case from an attempted opened, the cable was also spliced internally. The other remote was found to have burning on the PCB.
After talking to the customer it was concluded to restore and fit the original circuit into the new case.
The customer is to take care when testing the remote as it is not known why the brand new remote control obtained burning on its PCB.
